Dr. Grant Stevens

Dr. Stevens has been named one of America's Best Physicians in "The Guide to Top Doctors," nominated by his colleagues making this recognition a special honor. Dr. Stevens has pioneered many advancements in the field of plastic surgery. While Dr. Stevens has been appointed by the governor of California, authored many articles for medical journals and has taught at some of the finest medical schools, his dedication remains to his patients, helping them to achieve their personal goals.

Dr. Stevens is a Board Certified Diplomate of The American Board of Plastic Surgery and a Fellow of The American College of Surgeons and The International College of Surgeons. Dr. Stevens graduated with honors from Washington University Medical School in St. Louis, receiving the Senior Prize in Surgery award. He completed his general surgery training at Harbor UCLA Medical Center and Fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery from Washington University-Barnes Hospital. He was appointed by the governor to the Medical Board of California Medical Quality Review Board, and serves on the Plastic Surgery Faculty at UCLA and USC. Dr. Stevens has been an invited visiting professor at Loma Linda University, the University of Switzerland, the University of Denmark, and the University of Southern California.

Dr. Stevens has authored many journal articles and is an editorial member to medical journals. He has presented lectures worldwide to such groups as the American Association of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the California Plastic Surgery Society, and the Swiss and Danish Plastic Surgery Societies. While these are areas that are well-known to medical professionals, Dr. Stevens has also been recognized in the main stream media, featured in articles in such publications as USA Today, People Magazine, the Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Glamour, Business Week, Men's Fitness, LA Times Magazine, Longevity, Cooking Light, Discovery and numerous newspapers. His television appearances have included Extra, Entertainment Tonight, Leeza, Inside Edition, 60 Minutes, Cosmetic Surgery Live, Plastic Surgery Before and After, A Current Affair, Hard Copy, CNN, Discovery, MSNBC, The Learning Channel, CBS News and many other TV and radio interviews.

Dr. Michelle Spring

Dr. Michelle Spring is a board-certified diplomate of The American Board of Plastic Surgery specializing in cosmetic surgery in Los Angeles. After completing an American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery fellowship with Dr. Stevens and an Integrated Plastic Surgery residency at University of Wisconsin, Madison, Dr. Spring practiced in Wisconsin as faculty and helped train residents in reconstructive and cosmetic plastic surgery.

Prior to joining the team at Marina Plastic Surgery, Dr. Spring traveled for one year to Bangladesh, Bolivia, China, Ecuador, India, Peru, Taiwan and Vietnam, where she used her surgical skills and compassion to provide humanitarian relief as an Interplast Webster Fellow. She provided free reconstructive plastic surgery for children and adults with cleft palates, cleft lips, disfiguring burns and hand deformities. She then practiced in Sandpoint and Coeur d'Alene, Idaho before returning to Southern California.

Dr. Spring participates in training plastic surgeons in the specialty of cosmetic surgery through the aesthetic fellowship of the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California. When Dr. Spring is not performing surgery at Marina Plastic Surgery, she continues her humanitarian work with Eduplast, a nonprofit organization dedicated to training plastic and reconstructive surgeons in Nicaragua and Ecuador.

Dr. Spring lives in Southern California with her husband, son and dog. They appreciate the great outdoors and spend their free time hiking, skiing and exploring the world.
